About the Market

Every Saturday, November to April, from 9:00 am – Noon at the Roshek Building, 700 Locust Street, Dubuque, Iowa.

Every Saturday morning at the break of dawn, a dedicated band of volunteers meets at the Roshek Building to set up tables and rearrange chairs for the Dubuque Winter Farmers Market. Vendors roll up and unload their wares.

Fresh eggs and sausage sizzle on the griddle, and the smell of locally roasted, fresh-brewed coffee greets the first visitors. Since 2007, we’ve been providing this service, making Dubuque one of first communities in the state with a year-round Farmers’ Market.

The Dubuque Winter Farmers Market is a place where people come to meet their farmers, but it’s also a place to meet your neighbors, make new acquaintances and reconnect with old friends. It’s filled with healthy, locally-grown foods, fresh-baked goods, and hot breakfast items. You’ll always find friendly farmers and welcoming smiles.

Parking available: FREE parking at the US Bank parking lot (6th and Locust St.); On-street, metered parking ($0.75/hour); and in the Locust Street ramp (830 Bluff St., $1/hour).

Support the Winter Farmers Market and make a difference to our local economy and food quality. Check out the weekly surprises and enjoy the local venue and community. We have a new variety of vendors which changes on a weekly basis with new vendors added all season.
