Join Cindy Baumgartner, Nutrition and Health Program Specialist/Master Food Safety Advisor, for this workshop to learn the basics of canning, freezing, and dehydrating foods! Learn why food needs to be preserved; be introduced to safe methods of canning (hot water bath & pressure canning), freezing, and dehydrating; take home USDA approved recipes & handouts; and fresh salsa will be prepared & sampled!
Cost: $12 – General Public; $8 – DBQ Food Co-op Members
